Marble Mountain Tour

At 14:00, our local guide and Hoi An private car will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An/ Da Nang City and we start the Marble Mountains and monkey mountain sunset tour.

We will have a chance to admire the skillful hands of local artists at Non-Nuoc Stone Carving Village. After that, we will challenge ourselves to conquer the Marble of water.

Marble Mountains is a cluster of 5 lime and marble mountains that represent 5 basic elements to create the Universe or the 5 fingers of Buddha. We will explore some highlight attractions in the Marble of Water such as the Linh Ung Pagoda, Tan Chon Cave, Van Thong Cave, Tam Thai Pagoda, Hoa Nghiem Cave, etc.

Our knowledgeable tour guide will tell you a lot of ancient stories about the formation of Marble Mountains Da Nang and the beauty, function, and meaning of each cave, and how the locals worship their gods.

We will conquer the Heaven Gate to reach the peak of Marble Mountain at a height of 110m compared to sea level. We will admire the panoramic views of Non-Nuoc Beach, Da Nang coastal city, and Hoi An ancient town.

16:00 pm: Our Da Nang private car will transfer you to admire Monkey Mountain to enjoy the panoramic views of Da Nang, beautiful mountain scenery, and romantic sunset from the peak of Son Tra Peninsula. Some days, you can see a lot of wild monkeys.

To enjoy the fabulous sunset moments on Monkey Mountain, Our local guide and driver will help you to admire all attractions on Son Tra Mountain such as

Linh Ung Pagoda with the tallest Lady Buddha Statue statue in Viet Nam with a height of 67m. You will enjoy the chill breeze from the Ocean, and the wonderful views of the Ocean with fishing boats.

After that, we will visit the sea-watching tower and Radar station on the Son Tra peninsula. The highlight of our Monkey Mountain Sunset Tour is the fantastic moments of the Sunset at Ban Co Peak (Chessboard Peak).

With an altitude of 700m above sea level and the highest peak of Son Tra Mountain, Ban Co Peak is affectionately called by the locals by the very dear name “The roof of Da Nang”. From the top of the mountain, you will have the opportunity to fully admire the sparkling city of Da Nang from a completely new perspective.
