Bach Ma National Park Trekking & Camping Tour

Pre-departure

• Arrive at Me Ly Homestay in Bach Ma National Park to stay for a night before departing early the next day.
• You will sleep in a shared room or glamping tent in the relaxing homestay.

Day 1: Tour Office – Hoang Yen Stream – Ngu Ho Waterfall

In The Morning

• 08:00 – 08:30: Tour briefing and equipment preparation at the Tour Office.
• 08:30: Start the National Park Camping Tour by taking a ride from the Tour Office to Hoang Yen Stream.
• 09:30: After 1-hour transfer, start trekking along the Hoang Yen Stream towards Ngu Ho Waterfall.
• 10:00 – 12:00: Upon arrival at Ngu Ho Waterfall (or Five Lakes Waterfall), you’ll spend time discovering and swimming at the pure lake system of Five Lakes.
• 12:00 – 13:00: Have lunch at the last lake of Five Lakes.

In The Afternoon

• 13:00-16:00: To prepare for tomorrow’s challenging 400-meter canyoning, you’ll have professional rope access training at Ngu Ho Waterfall.
• 16:00-16:30: Trek to the first base camp by Ngu Ho Lakes after the training.
• 16:30-17:00: Prepare your first Bach Ma National Park Campground.
• 17:00-18:00: Relax and have dinner by the campsite before camping out.

Day 2: Ngu Ho Lakes – Do Quyen Waterfall (400-meter canyoning)

In The Morning

• 08:00 – 08:30: Have breakfast at Ngu Ho Lakes before breaking camp.
• 09:00: Start trekking to the peak of Do Quyen Waterfall (or Rhododendron Falls).
• 09:30: After a 30-minute Do Quyen Waterfall hike, you finally arrive at this splendid fall. Carefully prepare safety gear before the challenging 400-meter canyoning.
• 10:00: Start conquering Do Quyen Waterfall by canyoning 400 meters down. On arrival at the middle of Do Quyen Waterfall, have lunch in stunning scenery.

In The Afternoon

• 16:00: Finish the waterfall exploration by canyoning and head to the campsite by the bottom of Do Quyen waterfall.
• 16:00 – 18:00: Later on, you can chill out with poetic scenery and go Do Quyen Waterfall swimming.
• 18:00: Dinner time. Then, camp out by Do Quyen Waterfall.

Day 3: Do Quyen Waterfall – Bach Ma Peak – Tour Office

In The Morning

• Before 08:30: Enjoy the early morning by Do Quyen Waterfall: morning swimming, hot coffee or tea sipping, sunbathing, or photo taking.
• 08:30 – 09:00: Again, have breakfast before leaving the second campsite.
• 09:00 – 10:00: Hike up a 689-step staircase to reach the top of Do Quyen Waterfall.
• 10:00 – 10:30: Continue trekking to a road where you get picked up by a van.
• 10:30 – 11:00: Take a 30-minute transfer to Bach Ma Peak, or Hai Vong Dai Peak.
• 11:00 – 13:00: Watching the ocean from the top while enjoying a nice lunch.

In The Afternoon

• 13:00 – 14:00: Take a ride back to the Tour Office at the bottom of the Bach Ma Mountains. Tour ends.

What To Bring?

• 02 sets of long trousers & a long-sleeved shirt (to avoid poison ivies and mosquitoes)
• 02 sets of changing clothes (for 2 nights at campsites)
• Swimwear
• 02 pairs of long socks
• 01 Small/medium backpack and waterproof bags
• Sandals or flip-flops
• Extra clothes (as you prefer)
• Dry bag (optional)
• Hiking shoes (optional, as you can borrow them from us)

Hiking shoes are available in Euro sizes 36–45 at our office for free borrowing. Yet, we suggest bringing your own shoes in case ours do not suit you. Also, we do not suggest Goretex/waterproof boots, as these take a long time to dry.
