In the morning:
At 8:30 am: We will pick you up at your hotel/ homestay and we start Hoi An Countryside Tour. First of all, you can choose cycling or taking a Hoi An private car to go to the Cam Thanh coconut forest (7 hectares wide). There, we take the Hoi An basket boats to go fishing crabs with local fishermen.
In addition, you will have a chance to learn how to use simple fishing tools to catch crabs and fish…If you are lucky, you will catch some. After that, we will go to a local family to do a “Hoi An Cooking class“. You will learn how to cook some local specialties such as Banh Khoai (Vietnamese rice pancakes), and Nem ran (Fried spring rolls).
That is a real competition between you guys in the Hoi An Countryside Tour full day. In the end, the local MASTER CHEF will tell you who would be the best cook of the day and you will get a prize.
After the cooking course, we will have lunch with what you have just cooked and 4 more dishes from the locals. Moreover, you can drink some fresh coconut water from the family garden (seasonal).
After a lovely lunch, It’s time to enjoy life by getting a foot massage with local medicines from local herbs.
In the afternoon:
Around 1:30 pm: Keep doing the Hoi An countryside tour, we will go to visit Hoi An ancient town. It was as known as the biggest international trading port in Vietnam. From the 16th century, it was one of the great ports in the world. Hoi An is beautiful with colorful lanterns, ancient houses, and assembly halls following Chinese and Japanese architecture. We will visit some highlights: the Japanese covered bridge, Tan Ky Old House, and Phuc Kien assembly hall.
Finally, we will go to Hoi An theater to enjoy some wonderful performances such as plays, dramas, Champa dance, classical instrument performances as well as playing Bingo games.
