The craft of making conical hats has appeared in Hue for hundreds of years with villages such as Da Le, Phu Cam, Doc So, Trieu Tay, and Kim Long… The unique characteristic of Hue conical hats is fragility, harmony, and balance. It has a pointed tip, and moderately wide rim, both soft and durable, with a characteristic bright white color, mixed with a gentle blue color.
The Hue conical hat village originated from Tay Ho village- Phu Ho commune- Phu Vang district- Thua Thien Hue. This is a traditional profession in this village two hundred years ago.

Sewing hats: The finishing step is stitching hats, you sew 3 stitches from the top to the brim every 1cm. For the last rim will be used white thread to sew the needles will be 2cm apart.
