Hue Conical Hat Village
Referring to Hue people, Hue girls, it is impossible not to mention the pure white conical hats, gentle and shy on the purple ao dai. The profession of making conical hats was born a long time ago, probably from the time of kings.
Up to now, Hue is said to be one of the largest conical hat producers in Vietnam. Coming here, you can visit Hue craft villages making conical hats such as Da Le, Phu Cam, Doc So, Trieu Tay, Kim Long, and Sia. This is not only a simple product but also a work of art, requiring artisans to be skillful, meticulous, and persistent.

Thanh Tien Paper Flower Village
Thanh Tien village is located in Phu Mau commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province. This paper flower-making profession is one of the famous craft villages in Hue, also known as Hue traditional craft village.
On the occasion of Tet to spring, Thanh Tien paper flower village is bustling, busy, and full of laughter with paper flower making, featuring many colors from flowers.
Products are often decorated at tables or places of worship in the family houses. Decorating paper flowers creates a cozy and dignified feature, not only that, but it also brings a beauty imbued with national identity.

Thuy Xuan Incense Making Village
Thuy Xuan incense village is one of the famous Hue tourist attractions that almost every tourist stops to visit. The address of Thuy Xuan incense village is on Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street, near Vong Canh hill, Royal Tomb of Tu Duc, 7km southwest of Hue city center.
According to the oldest artisans in Thuy Xuan incense village, incense making appeared here about 700 years ago under the Nguyen Dynasty. In the past, the village was the place to provide incense sticks and frankincense for the court, mandarins, and high-level people in Thuan Hoa and Phu Xuan areas.
Although it has undergone many up and down of time, history, this Hue incense village continues to be preserved and developed. Each generation, from father to son, makes fragrant incense sticks. It contributes to the rich spiritual life of local people as well as Vietnamese people.

Hue Bronze casting village
Bronze casting is a long-standing tradition of Vietnamese people in general and Hue people in particular. Bronze casting is one of the famous traditional craft villages in Hue. An ideal and right place for visitors who would like to learn about this special profession is Duc ward, Hue city.
When the Trinh King and Tay Son captured the Imperial City of Phu Xuan, the bronze-casting village was also disbanded. However, fortunately, thanks to the foundries of the Nguyen brothers, this unique craft village has been preserved until today.
Hue bronze casting village is located on the south bank of the Perfume River, from Gia Vien Bridge to Long Tho, about 3km southwest of Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province.
Sinh Folk Painting Village
Sinh painting village belongs to Phu Mau commune, Phu Vang District, about 8km from Hue city, located on the Perfume river bank. Because the villagers originated from agriculture so their works of art characterize the rustic beauty of simplicity and peace of the countryside.
Nowadays, Sinh village is also known as a cultural village of the ancient capital, which still preserves the craft of making traditional paintings and a famous wrestling festival, held on the tenth day of the first lunar calendar month.
In addition, the village also has a profession of making incense and making popcorn to worship. Perhaps because of these traditions, woodblock printing in Sinh village, since its inception, has not been purely a line of paintings for elegant pleasures, but mainly for religious needs, used for worship, to be used in rituals of peace and relaxation.

Phuoc Tich Ceramics Village
Phuoc Tich pottery village belongs to Phong Hoa, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province. The unique traditional products of Phuoc Tich such as tea sets, teapots, flowerpots, jars, bowls, plates, etc.
The Phuoc Tich potteries were chosen by the Nguyen Dynasty to be used in the royal court. Their products were also sold from Nghe An to the South of Vietnam and even exported to Japan and used in special Japanese tea parties.
This Hue craft village has also appeared for a long time, now Phuoc Tich is also known as an ancient village of the ancient capital. Traveling here visitors not only learn about the history village, and learn how to make pottery but also visit the ancient houses and relics that still exist.
Bao La Knit Village (Hue Craft Villages)
Located about 15km from the North of Hue City, on the Northern bank of the Bo River, Bao La Village in Quang Phu Commune, Quang Dien District is such a well-known traditional knit village.
The village was established a long time ago, but under the Nguyen Dynasty, a new Bao La village was set up. Now it belongs to Thuy Lap village, Quang Loi commune, Quang Dien district on the Southern bank of Tam Giang lagoon.
Due to the same origin, both villages have a craft of knitting bamboo products specialized in producing: bamboo mats, baskets, and baby beds, … are made of rattan and bamboo material.
