Dakrong Bridge

Dakrong suspension bridge is a central point of the Dakrong Relic – a scenic spot located on National Highway 9 at km50, at the starting point of National Highway 14A, in Dak Rong town, Dak Rong district, Quang Tri province.

Dakrong Bridge Vietnam spans over the Dakrong River, the upstream of Thach Han River flows through Quang Tri and gets to Cua Viet beach. The landscape in this area is majestic, the road is winding up the slope, one side is the mountain, and the other is the valley of the Dak Rong River. Dakrong Bridge stands firmly in the middle of majestic mountains and hills.

Initially, It was just an iron bridge over the river made by the army built in 1975 to connect the important transport route for the Southern route. In 2000, the bridge was rebuilt to replace the old bridge that collapsed. Dakrong Bridge is the first suspension bridge made in Vietnam by the Vietnamese with 100m long and 6m wide.
