Introduction

The Tam Giang – Cau Hai lagoon system extends in the Northwest – Southeast direction along the coast. The lagoon has a length of 68 km, a total water surface area of 216 km², and includes 3 lagoons: Tam Giang Lagoon, Thuy Tu Lagoon, and Cau Hai Lagoon.

Cau Hai Lagoon Location

From Hue city center, it is not difficult to get to Cau Hai lagoon. Just go in the direction of Hue to Da Nang along Highway 1A, to the territory of Phu Loc district, look to the left and you will see the lagoon appear in front of your eyes. Go about 8km more and you will meet Highway 49B to turn left into Tu Hien estuary.
