Tam Giang Lagoon
Firstly, we will stop at Truong Ha Bridge to admire the beautiful Tam Giang Lagoon. Here, you can look far away at the 52-kilometer-square lagoon, also known as the largest lagoon system in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Its views are full of a vast waterbody, fishing boats, a large net system, local fishermen, and their daily activities.
City Of Ghosts
Then, we will visit the city of Ghost Hue, or An Bang Cemetery. It is the most luxurious and magnificent cemetery in Vietnam. There are thousands of tombs of all colors and sizes, worth billions of VND. The architecture of the tomb of An Bang Village converges all elements of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, and even Islam.
The An Bang Cemetery is famous not only in Vietnam but also in the world. It is called by domestic people as well as foreign press names, such as “mansion area of the dead” or “tomb paradise.”
Lap An Lagoon
Lap An Lagoon will be the next sightseeing stopover on the way from Hue to Hoi An by Jeep. It is an exquisite and romantic lagoon with brackish water and a huge oyster farm run by local fishermen.
