HUE COUNTRYSIDE TOUR 3 DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Hue Arrival – Boat Trip To Thuy Bieu Cooking Class
We can pick you up at a hotel in Hue or Phu Bai Airport. Please inform us of your preferred departure location so that our private car can show up to get you on the tour.
After that, we start the Hue countryside tour by taking a dragon boat to Thuy Bieu Village. Our dragon boat will go along the Perfume River for you to see the beautiful Hue City on the banks of the Perfume River.
On the green Perfume River banks, you will see some water buffalos wandering, eating, and swimming. Leaving the hustle and bustle of the city, we get to Thuy Bieu Village (7 km from Hue city center).
Moreover, you can catch a glimpse of the green pomelo trees, bananas, herbs, and bamboo along the narrow village road. More interestingly, the lovely and warm smiles from the locals will make you fall in love with this charming village. In Thuy Bieu Village Hue, you will have a clear notion about how the real garden house is.
After that, we will go to Thuy Bieu local family restaurant to learn how to cook local specialties. Well, in this wonderful cooking class, we will compete with each other to become a new master chef. Furthermore, you will enjoy what you just cooked for lunch. Then, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Hue.

Day 2: Hue City Tour – Tha Om Garden
At 8:00 AM, we will start the Hue Countryside Tour Day 2. Firstly, your team will visit Hue Imperial City, the working and residence of 13 emperors as well as hundreds of concubines and eunuchs.
The total area of Hue Imperial Citadel is about 520 hectares on the northern bank of the Perfume River. The complex includes Hue Citadel, Hue Royal City, and Hue Forbidden City.
After that, we will enjoy the ancient atmosphere of the over-100-year-old house, Tha Om Garden House. A 3-generation extended family lives in this beautiful wooden house with a perfect Fengshui setting and a serene garden.
When we come here, we will have a great chance to talk with the owner and learn deeply about Vietnamese traditions. Besides, as it’s also a local restaurant, you can enjoy the best authentic Vietnamese cuisine here for lunch.
After the lunch break, we continue the Hue Countryside Tour by visiting the Tu Duc Royal Tomb. It’s the burial area of the 4th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. Our tour guide will tell you some wonderful stories about royal life related to the emperor. Moreover, you can learn more about the emperor’s philosophy of how to prepare the tomb for their afterlife before they pass away.
On the way back to your hotel, we will drop by the Hue Insense-Making Village. A hospitable local will teach you how to make incense by hand. Moreover, you can keep your handmade items as souvenirs.

Day 3: Thien Mu Pagoda – Dong Ba Market
In the morning, we pick you up at your hotel to visit Thien Mu Pagoda or “Heavenly Lady Pagoda.” It’s one of the oldest ancient architectural pagodas for religious worship in the center and south of Vietnam, dating from 1601. Furthermore, our guide will tell you a lot of beautiful stories and myths about this pagoda and the local people.
After that, our next stop will be the Dong Ba Market Hue. Dong Ba has been the biggest trading center in Hue for a long time. At the Dong Ba Market, there are various items for souvenir shopping or simply window shopping. Also, it will be a great place to learn how to bargain.
