Discover the charm of Hoi An’s countryside with the Cooking Class at Tra Que Village Tour, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and culinary heritage.
Located just 3 kilometers north of Hoi An Ancient Town, Tra Que Vegetable Village is renowned for its organically grown, fragrant herbs and vegetables. The village’s sustainable farming methods make it a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine at its source.
The local farmers use only organic fertilizers, primarily riverweed, to grow their produce, ensuring their vegetables are clean, fresh, and chemical-free. This makes dishes like Cao Lau and Mi Quang taste even more special when prepared with Tra Que’s fresh herbs.
By booking the cooking class at Tra Que Village, you’ll experience the peaceful atmosphere of the vegetable gardens and enjoy a bike ride around Hoi An to see local daily life and visit the Ba Le market.
You’ll have a great chance to become a real farmer, practice farming works at the vegetable village, and learn how to cook delicious traditional Hoi An specialties using fresh vegetables straight from the garden. During the cooking class, compete with each other to become a local Master Chef and get a special prize.
