MEKONG DELTA TOUR 1 DAY FROM HO CHI MINH CITY
At 8 am, Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon) and we start the Mekong Delta Tour 1 Day.
On arrival at My Tho, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda. It is a large pagoda, architecture is quite delicate, and diverse in the style of Asia – Europe synthesis (France, Rome, Thai, Mien, Cham). However, the pagoda still imbues Vietnamese traditional sculpture architecture.
After that, we will take a leisurely boat ride along the Mekong River to admire the daily life of the locals with local stilt houses, fishing villages as well as fruit plantations on both sides of the river banks.
Continue the Mekong Delta Tour From Ho Chi Minh City, we will have lunch in an orchard garden of a local family on the Tortoise islet. After a lovely local lunch, we will take the boat to go to An Khanh commune in Ben Tre province.
Our visit will be to a real rural family business to taste their locally handmade products “Coconut candies“. Moreover, you also can observe the pastoral lives as you roam through the village and local fruit plantations.
Under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, you can learn how to row on a hand-rowed sampan. Enjoy the seasonal local honey tea and fruits as well as the unique folk songs by the southern voice of the locals.
