Built in 1840, this serene and majestic mausoleum complex, with its lakes, gardens, and pavilions, serves as the final resting place of Emperor Minh Mang.

It is such a very nice and meaningful tomb with a lot of stuff (PRE- prepared while he was still alive). It is only for the afterlife of the Emperor. Our tour guide will tell you a scary secret of the burial process at the end of the tomb.

Then, we will visit the tomb of the 12th emperor of the Nguyen dynasty- Khai Dinh Emperor. It is the smallest tomb but is known as the most expensive and beautiful tomb in the tomb system of the Nguyen dynasty and over the World.

The Royal Tomb of Khai Dinh is an architectural marvel that blends traditional Vietnamese design with European influences. Built between 1920 and 1931, this elaborate mausoleum features intricate ceramic and glass decorations, standing as a testament to the lavish and unique aesthetic preferences of Emperor Khai Dinh.

Therefore, nowadays, it is one of the new heritages in the world. You would say twice “WOW, WOW” when entering the Thien Dinh Palace in the Khai Dinh Tomb, I promise you.
